Terms and conditions.

1. The service

CourseIt turns YouTube videos and playlists into courses with lessons, quizzes and a study plan. It is operated by Triggerfy Services. CourseIt is in beta and free to use; features may change, and we may add paid plans in the future with clear notice before you are charged.

2. Your account

You sign in with Google, GitHub or X. Keep that account secure; you are responsible for activity on your CourseIt account. You must be at least 13 years old (or older where local law requires) to use CourseIt.

3. YouTube content

Videos belong to their creators and are played in YouTube's own embedded player. CourseIt does not download, host or re-upload videos. By using CourseIt you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. CourseIt is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube or Google.

Only add videos you are allowed to watch. Lessons, quizzes and notes we generate are study aids for your personal learning.

4. AI-generated content

Course outlines, quizzes, explanations and study notes are generated by AI models (NVIDIA Nemotron on Nebius Token Factory). They can contain mistakes. Check important facts against the original video, and do not rely on CourseIt for professional, medical, legal or financial advice.

5. Acceptable use

Please don't:

• break the law or infringe anyone's rights, including creators' copyrights;
• try to access other people's accounts or data, or disrupt the service;
• scrape, copy or resell CourseIt or the courses it generates at scale;
• use automated tools to create courses in bulk without our permission.

6. Your content

Your notes and answers are yours. You give us permission to store and process them only to run CourseIt for you, as described in our Privacy policy.

7. Our content

The CourseIt name, logo and design are ours. CourseIt's source code is published under an open source licence; that licence covers the code, not the brand.

8. Ending your use

You can stop using CourseIt and ask us to delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms or put the service or other people at risk.

9. Disclaimers and liability

CourseIt is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for content on YouTube or other third-party services. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let signed-in users know. Continuing to use CourseIt after a change means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, except where your local consumer law says otherwise.
